first night in a new town

installation, högskolan för fotografi, gothenburg, april 2006

this installation was made site specific for the resting room at the university. in the room there was nothing but one old bed and a small nightstand. the room was decorated in accordance with the institutional style already present, and the installation was therefore not immediately apparent. the added objects had embroideries on them, showing use and wear.
